From the Grand Knight:

It is with great pleasure and pride that I welcome you to view the website of Father William O’Byrne Council #3574 of the Knights of Columbus.  Please look around the site and learn more about our council.  The members and I are extremely proud of our accomplishments, and are pleased to inform everyone what we are all about.

Father O’Byrne Council is an extremely active group of Catholic gentlemen (and their families) operating in the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and boasts being 200+ members strong.   The council regularly hosts numerous events through the year, or on an annual basis. These events are in support of our parish, our community, our families, the youth, or various charitable organizations.   Some examples include a monthly parish breakfasts, dinners, support to our mental disabled citizens, and the hosting of special events and well as scholarships to our youth.

As the Grand Knight for the Council, I do understand that in today’s times especially, most people have minimal spare time to become involved with service organizations and do charitable works.   But life is short, and before you know it, you may have missed the opportunity to make positive contributions to our society.   It is through “strength in numbers” that the Knights of Columbus is able to make these positive contributions.   And I’m proud to say that Father William O’Byrne Council is a leader in this capacity, due to the dedication of its executive, the membership, and their families.

If you are a Catholic gentleman, and are interested in learning more about our order and/or Father O’Byrne Council specifically, please take advantage of the website’s CONTACT US feature, and someone will be glad to answer your questions.

Vivat Jesus,

Dale Graf
Grand Knight Father

William O-Byrne Council #3574
